>The Hub. After taking the heart of Sheriff Johnson and Oracle and Violet starting college, we finally have time to keep our promise to the Scorchers and Battle Force 5 to help them reopen the portal of Highway 35 and bring back the World Race.
>We were all gathered together waiting for Oracle’s fellow hackers to make contact.
Me and Sophia have made the necessary precautions just in case the Silencerz attempt to trace us if we are caught.
Good, Sage. We’ll need it.
I just hope the Silencerz don’t realize that the ones hacking them are the people they had to deal with in the past.
Don’t worry. Something tells me they never had to deal with a hacker like me before.
Really? What makes you any different?
Oracle: Ever heard of Medjed?

Yu-ichi: But it’s clever. No one would ever suspect that my hacker name is my real name.

Yu-ichi: Sorry. Hey, are the others coming, too? Spooky? Hitomi? And... what’s-his-name? (Gee, it’s been a long time, so I forgot his name.)
Lunch: They’ve been through enough already. Best to leave them out of this. So, why did you bring us back together?
Oracle: Nothing much. Just hacking into a secret organization’s databanks.
Yu-ichi: (laughing a bit) That’s all? That’s like the easiest thing there is. Give us a bigger challenge.
Six: (a little anxious) Get serious. We don’t even know anything about this secret organization.
Oracle: I’ll tell you about it.

Oracle: Soon. Right now, our next hackers are calling in.

Queen: That should be him.

Queen: No, Forge san, you made it right on time.
Hold on! You’re Forge of the X-Men. Peter told me about you.

Joker: And Adi told me.
Mixer: (in awe) Holy- It’s really Forge! Dude, I’m one of your biggest fans.

Makoto, how do you know Forge?
Queen: Do you remember that Inhuman student from the school festival? The one who said her friend is a mutant? I looked into those students. The mutant student was visited by Dr. Hank McCoy. Forge san just happened to have come with him.
Forge: We wanted to talk to her before she and her friends left for Attilan. We wanted to make sure that she’ll be ready to go up us or her parents worrying about her getting M-Pox if she’s exposed to the Terrigen Mist. We also wanted to let her know that she’ll always have place with the X-Men.
Joker: That’s good to hear.
I thought you left the X-Men so you could do your own thing.
Forge: I still help them from time to time. Mostly with mutants who’ve just come into their powers.
Queen: I know what you mean. I had to go through Scott Summers and almost the rest of the X-Men to contact you.
Forge: And I still can’t believe you decided to ask me and had to go through all that just to do it.
It was either you or the other Forge. The one who still maintains his youthful appearance from being stuck in another dimension for many years.
Forge: Yes, I know who you’re talking about. I’ve met my Fellow Forge many times. A little rambunctious, but he’s a good person. I even asked him with help on some projects. Including this one I’ve been working on.
>Forge hold some kind of metallic helmet along with his phone which had an app open with the lets “c” and “p”.
Forge: I call it Cerebro Portable. Me and my Fellow Forge created it to help telepaths find mutants within a hundred mile radius. Especially ones who just got into their powers. But it’s not finished yet.
Yu-ichi: Really? How so?
Forge: We tried to design it based on the original concept for the original Cerebro. There’s just one problem.
Sophie: And what’s that?
Forge: There are only two people I know who know more about Cerebro than any and that would be the original creators. Professor Charles Xavier, but he won’t awaken from his coma for eight more years. The other is... Erik Lehnsherr.
Magneto.
Forge: That’s right. And I’m not about to go all the way to Genosha just to ask him to help me create something that he, himself, could use to find mutant to recruit into the Brotherhood or his mutant army. So it may be a while. Hopefully Professor Xavier will be awake by then. But for now, I’ll just settle with getting help from my Fellow Forges.
RING! RING!
Forge: Speaking of which.

Sorry for the wait. Just finishing up with Kurt and the others.
Forge san! It’s been too long.
Queen: Yes, it has.
Forge: I didn’t want to leave him out of it, so I invited him to help out, too.
Other Forge: I’m willing to do what I can.
Joule: I think we’re going to have some confusion here.
Six: Yeah, how do we address one of you?
Other Forge: Well, my Fellow Forge came here first, so I guess we can call him Forge 1. I’ll be fine with being called Forge 2.
Yeti: If that works, we’ll take it.
How did you two meet Forge 2?
Queen: (unsure) Well...
Noir: (smiling) I can tell you. It all started...

>The car was about to hit the young man on the street... But it didn’t. The car suddenly was floating in the air. Queen and Noir looked to see that the young man they nearly hit had some kind of device that was creating some kind of gravity field.

Mona: (unsurprised) That makes sense.
Noir: We exchanged information and we’ve known each other since.
Forge 2: And your eggs were even safe.
Forge 1: And how did that anti-gravity generator work out?
Forge 2: They said they’ll thank about it.
Translation: You were rejected.
Forge 2: Yeah, I figured.
Noir: Why would they? It’s a great invention. It really helped us.
Forge 2: Good question. Either because their minds are too slow or small to handle how advanced my inventions are, or... Well, you know.
Vert: Because you’re a mutant. Now that’s just unfair.
Forge 2: Sounds like you know the feeling.
Vert: (a small smile) Let’s just say, I have secrets of my own.
>For a moment, a small light formed in Vert’s hand which quickly vanished just as I saw something move on his back behind his uniform... I wonder.

Oracle: Sounds like another fellow hacker’s here.

Joker: Glad you can join us, Player.
Wayne: Yeah, how are things back up there, eh? I haven’t been back in awhile.
Player: Well, things are still quiet because of the pandemic. Other than that, everything’s great.
Joker: And speaking of of how things are, how’s Red chan doing?
WARNING: Spoilers for Carmen Sandiego ahead.
Yeah, ever since V.I.L.E. went down in flames and Zack and Ivy joined A.C.M.E., she’s been pretty quite.
Player: She’s fine. She finally found her mom, but she hasn’t said anything else. But I’m sure we’ll learn more soon. For now, I’ll see what I can do. Thanks again for inviting me.

Yu-ichi: I know. Hackers are getting younger and younger these days.

Player: (smiling) Hey, the Spookies. Nice to meet you. You’re actually one of the reasons I was inspired to become a hacker.
Lunch: Really. That’s good. Of course, our reason for hacking is probably much different than ours.
Player: Pretty much.
Wolf: (a bit surprised) Hold on! Spookies? I thought you three were familiar. I should have realized that when you said Spooky, real name Masahiro Sakura.
Queen: Now that you mentioned it, I think I remember my father talk about a case from another part of Japan. I didn’t think much of it at the time and completely forgot about it.
Yu-ichi: So you know about that? I wonder what he’s doing now. He disbanded our group after some stuff happened and he left to find himself.
Lunch: I’m sure we’ll see him again soon.
Six: Same here. I sort of miss him and the others.
RING! RING!
Sophie: We have another one.

I just finished my start-of-term homework, now I’m all free.
Joker: So glad you could join us, Adi. I just hope the Future Avengers won’t be called away anytime soon.
Adi: No, things have been relatively slow lately, so I think we’re good. But just in case, Mr. Stark and Cap want us on stand by.
Skull: I’m sure it’s nothing you, Makoto, and the others can’t handle.
Adi: I’m sure, too.
Joker: Thanks for helping us, little-brother-may-become-son.

Thanks for inviting us. We’ve hadn’t had much to do since what happened on Eternia. I guess now that most of the evil of the universe, particularly Lotor, has been defeated, business for the Voltron Force has been a bit slow.
Really? That’s a shame. I’m sure something will come up soon.
Pidge: Well, it’s not totally slow. We do get the occasional bully or mad conqueror. Though, it’s not really the same.
Forge 2: Don’t give up. You guys will see real action again someday.
Pidge: Thanks, Forge-Of-My-Dreams. But for now, the only real action we’ve seen is in our dreams. Like how I dream that I’m some kid with heel problem fighting monsters from Greek Mythology or a pirate kid with a very pirate family or some kid with magical slugs.
Joker: That’s all?
Pidge: Pretty much. But I haven’t been having more actiony dreams. There were two others, but they’re gone for some reason. Though, one of them I’m glad is gone. But the other one I really miss.
Forge 2: Yeah, I think I know. But, you still have me... and our last hacker.
Vert: (confused) Our last hacker?
Queen: Vince isn’t the last hacker we’re expecting?
Vince: No, but Pidge says he knows about him.
Then he knows that he’s just as smart as I am.

Sherman: About time. We were afraid you weren’t coming at all.
Yeah, I kinda forgot until I took a siesta and these two reminded me. (he nods to Forge 2 and Pidge)
Pidge: You’re welcome.
Vert: (a bit suspicious) You seem familiar... You wouldn’t happen to know a teen alien who sounds like I used to when I was his age and is accompanied by a little alien robot that sound like you, would you?
Hi-Tech Young Man: (smiling) Maybe.
Spinner: Everyone, this is our cousin, Roberto Martinez. We call him Berto for short.
Berto: Hola, nice to meet you.
Six: Great, now we’ve got three headphones.

Mixer: Yeah, dude, don’t start dissin’ the phones.
Yu-ichi: Besides, you’re the one whose only mode of transportation is a skateboard... BTW, you still use for that?
Six: (blushing a bit) ... Maybe... Okay, so I’m still a long ways from getting that fancy sports car I’ve wanted. Business at our family’s store is rather slow these days. Even more since the pandemic hit. But I’m not giving up.
Berto: Hey, no shame in still skateboarding at your age. Look at me. I’m close to your age and I still do it.
Six: Easy for you to say, you look like you have a car. Most likely a high tech one at that.

Panther: Well, I did thought about asking Tecna for help, but I don’t want to get her or the Winx in trouble with the Silencerz, so she’s out. But I’ll call her if anything happens.
Skull: Then yup, that’s everyone!
Vert: Now that our team’s been assembled, let’s get on it. Now, I bet most of you are wondering why you’re here. Well, for that... I turn things over to my dad. Take it away, pops.
Thanks, Vert. You’re here because we might have a way to bring back one of the greatest inter-dimensional races ever. However, the secrets to that are locked away in the Silencerz’ mainframe. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (I’ve always wanted to say that), is to hack into their mainframe. In the mainframe, you must find a file containing the research data of the late Dr. Peter Tezla. But be warned, the Silencerz will try every hacker defense trick in the book: Firewalls, anti-virus software, encrypted passwords, security algorithms, even their own viruses and malware. If you do managed to get in and find the file, you have exactly 15 minutes to copy it before the failsafe kicks in.
Adi: Failsafe?
Jack: 15 minutes after the file’s been hacked, said file will delete itself permanently to prevent further hacking.
Forge 1: But if the Silencerz try everything to stop us, it’s going to be hard to get past all that. I think this is going to be much different than hacking into MRD tech.
Sophie: Luckily, that’s where I come in.
>The hackers on the screens (except for Adi, Player, Conor, and Chim-Chim) where confused until Sophie vanishes and reappears on the main screen.
Vince: (surprised) Holy!!!
Pidge: (smiling) I had a feeling that was no ordinary girl.
Yu-ichi: Amazing. An AI with it’s own ego... I wonder if I should tell my cousin Tokita about this.
Sophie: I am Sophia, humanity’s companion. I am going to help you all with whatever I can. That includes hacking into the Silencerz’ mainframe.
Mixer: You know, we have an AI of our own.
Sophie: You do?
??-??: A! I! S! H! A! We! Are! AISHA! ... Sorry, I couldn’t help it.
Sophie: So you must be M.A.Y.H.E.M.’s AI.
Call me In-Su.
Oracle: Didn’t I see you as part of an opening act for August Gaunt?
In-Su: With my sisters, yes. But that was a long time ago. I’m with M.A.Y.H.E.M. now. I mainly help Friday, Mixer, Gremlin, Joulie, and Safeword with cybernetic things, but I have done on-the-field missions... If the field is in Cyberspace.
Sophie: That’s good to hear. Nice to meet you. I guess we will be working together. I look forward to our mission together.
In-Su: I so will I, sachon*.
*”Sachon” is Korean for “cousin”.
Conor: Hey, if you’re gonna do something like this, me and Chim-Chim want to go into the virtual world.
Chim-Chim: *chirp chirp*
Lunch: You can do that?
>Conor shows he has some VR equipment.
Lunch: I guess that works.
>Conor connects the VR headset to his computer and Chim-Chim connects to it as well. Within moments, they were jacked in and something appears on the main screen with Sophie and In-Su.
Conor: Alright, all buffed up and ready for action! (begins singing) Here they come. Here comes Conor and his monkey, Chim-Chim.
>We all just stare... Which of us will be the first to ask?
Six: Oh, god. And why do they both of mustaches?
Vince: I’m guessing to match.
Yu-ichi: (smiling) I kinda like it. It’s actually quite clever.
Conor: (satisfied) Ha, I knew it! Take that, Lucy.
Pidge: Go with what works for you.
Jack: True. But remember what I said, the Silencerz will do whatever it takes to protect its secrets. I should know, I used to be the leader.
Vert: I wonder who took after you when you left.
Jack: (looking a bit down) Vert... I think you have pretty good idea.
Vert: I... I see. Well, we’ll still be able pull this off we work together.
We will. We can do this.
Vert: Thanks, Ren.
Jack: Again, I have to warn you, the Silencerz don’t play around. This is your last chance to back out. If you do, I won’t blame you.
>The other hackers were showing some doubt. No doubt they were thinking about what Jack said... However, their doubt quickly fades.
Player: Our friends wouldn’t have called us here if they didn’t we could handle the risk. We trust them.
Safeword: He’s right. They even helped M.A.Y.H.E.M. with a little something. Time to repay the favor.
Conor: Same with me, Chim-Chim, and our friends.
Vince: And us, too.
Lunch: I know this is the first time we’re meeting Alibaba’s friends, but we will help them.
Adi: Me and the other Future Avengers trust Ren, Yusuke, and the others.
Forge 1: We also just met, but we trust you.
Forge 2: Yeah.
Berto: (curious) Espeda, M.A.Y.H.E.M.? Racer Academy? And Arus? Aren’t those the places the Phantom Thieves... You know what? Never mind. I don’t wanna know.
Taro: (smiling a bit) Good. I don’t think you could keep your mouth shut.
Six: Look, what we’re trying to say is that we’re in. We’ll help you.
Jack: (with a look of gratitude) Thank you all.
Taro: Good luck, you guys. The fate of the World Race and Highway 35 is in your hands.
No pressure or anything.
Six: Believe me, we’ve seen through demons in a cybernetic world.
Safeword: Fight an evil organization everyday.
Player: What Safeword said.
Adi: Ditto, with a side of other villains.
Conor: I think we can handle it.
Vert: (smiling) Then let’s get to it!
Oracle: I’ve already got a lock on the mainframe. Ready when you are.
Conor: Ready as we’ll ever be.
>With that, Chim-Chim transforms into a motorcycle and Conor gets on.
In-Su: How are we suppose to keep up with that?
Oracle: Leave that to me.
>Oracle programs something into her laptop and something appears on the main screen.
What in the world!?
Oracle: I hope you don’t mind. I just thought we’d go with something more appropriate. This Johanna pretty much has all the things the original has for extra protection. Sophia, you’re driving. In-Su, I’m adding a side car for you.
>Oracle types something on her computer and a side car appears on Cyber Johanna. Sophie switches to her Phantom Thief attire.
Are you ready, In-Su chan?
In-Su: (now wearing a purple helmet with M.A.Y.H.E.M.’s fleur-de-lis which was blue on it) Ready.
Conor: Then let’s get going!
>With that, Sophie and In-Su get on Cyber Johanna and they, along with Conor and Chim-Chim, ride off.
>A little later, we were at the mainframe of the Silencerz. It was shaped like a giant tower with the Silencerz’ logo on it.
Sophie: This must be it.
Yu-ichi: You can already tell that they’re hiding something here.

Silencer #37: (don’t ask, we’re using their numbers) Not yet. We are still trying to find it. But we have got a lock on the hacker’s virus.
Silencer #5: I do not know what to make of this.
Silencer #1: A virus based on a ghost? Then I suggest you try busting it.
>Some of the Silencerz began typing something.
>Back in Cyberspace, the Spookies’ virus was phasing open a way when something appears near them. They looked like four men in jumpsuits curing some kind of large device on their backs that had guns attached to them.
In-Su: (confused) Are those... the Ghostbusters?
Jack: I told you, every trick in the book.
>The Cyber Ghostbusters begin firing at the Sppokies’ virus ghosts.
Conor: Time to go to work, Chim-Chim!
Chim-Chim: *chirp*
>Conor and Chim-Chim begin fighting off the Cyber Ghostbusters. In-Su and Sophie join in as well. In-Su’s dance moves already makes her a capable fighter and Sophie was swinging her yo-yos. After a while, Sophie, In-Su, Conor, and Chim-Chim manages to beat the Cyber Ghostbusters, but they had completely destroyed the Spookies’ virus.
Safeword: Our turn now!
>Safeword, Joule, Mixer, and Yeti, begin typing.
>At Silencerz HQ...
Silencer #20: This does not look right. What do we do?
Silencer #12: Try typing “cookie”, you idiot.
Silencer #1: Hey, be nice. And I do not think that would work. I have seen this movie before. Try regular anti-virus software.
Silencer #20: Yes, sir.
>Back in Cyberspace, the first few defenses have been broken though. Suddenly, a bright light flashes and the virus is deleted.
Forge 1: (smiling) You ready for this?
Forge 2: (also smiling) You know it!
>Forge 1 and Forge 2 upload their viruses.
Forge 2: Scott, this is for you, man.
>The two viruses begin attack the Sliencerz’ other defenses. Vert was looking at Forge 2′s virus.
Joker: Is something wrong, Vert?
Vert: Something about Forge 2′s virus that reminds me of someone... But I’ll think more about it later.
>Back at Silencerz HQ...
Silencer #3: Now we have viruses based on mutants?
Silencer #2: Be nice. One of my relatives was a mutant.
Silencer #1: Either way, we cannot let them through.
Silencer #3: I know.
>Silencer #3 begins programming something.
>Back in Cyberspace, Forge 1′s virus and Forge 2′s virus managed to break through more lines of defenses.
In-Su: It looks like we’re making progress.
Conor: Keep it up, you guys!
>Suddenly, something appears... Something big.
Forge 1: That can’t be good.
Sophie: I can help them with this. Time to show you my own power. Persona!
Pidge: (surprised smile) Whoa! I didn’t think she had one, too.
Vince: But there are robots who do.
Six: I think I read something about that... And dreamed about it.
Berto: Like I said, I don’t wanna know.
>Sophie and Pandora fight the Anti-Virus Sentinels along with the Forges’ viruses.
Player: With them busy, looks like I’m going up to the plate.
>With that, Player begins typing something and a new virus comes up. It looked like Carmen Sandiego, but a little blue.
Player: I hope Red doesn’t get too upset for changing her colors.
>Player’s virus begins using an enlarged version of her laser cuter to cut through the defenses.
>Back at Silencerz HQ.
Silencer #7: They are still coming!
Silencer #1: This is getting out of hand. Have you found the source of the attack yet?
Silencer #37: It is hard to tell. They are coming from multiple sources.
Silencer #1: See if you can find the closest source. We will start there.
Silencer #37: Yes, sir.
Silencer #40: I will deal with the current virus.
>Back in Cyberspace, Player’s virus has cut through more of the mainframe’s defenses and the Anti-Virus Sentinels have been deleted.
Oracle: There’s only a few left. Keep going, we’re almost there!
Adi: I think I have something that’ll move us faster.
>Then, a virus that looks like a queen bee appears with a swarm.
Adi: I got the idea from some children’s show. I’ll tell you more about it later.
>The bee viruses begin helping Player’s virus cut get through more of the defenses along with the Forges’ viruses. Suddenly, something flies up.
Adi: These guys don’t quit, do they?
>The virus swarm fights off against the security algorithms with Sophie, Pandora, and the Forges’ viruses while Conor and Chim-Chim break through the last of the walls.
Conor: Just a little more...
>Finally, the last of the security walls were gone. But no sooner they were, a blast of flames came and nearly blew Conor and Chim-Chim away!
Conor: GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!
In-Su: You mean great walls of fire. It’s a firewall. Don’t worry, I’ve got this.
Pidge: Hold on, I have something that could help you.
>Suddenly, some big gun that resembles a lion appears in In-Su’s hands.
Vince: This wind blaster will help blow out the flames. But don’t use it now. Wait until you’re on the other side of the wall to use it, or you might blow the flames at the files and destroy them.
In-Su: Right. Here I go.
>With that, In-Su dances her way through the flames until she finally got to the other side.
In-Su: Stand back!
>Then, with a large blast of wind, the firewall was out. Conor and Chim-Chim go in.
In-Su: Okay, we’re in.
Jack: Well done, kids! Now, the file you’re looking for is labeled “200335″.
Oracle: We’re searching now.
>Outside the mainframe, the security algorithms were still coming.
Sophie: This looks bad, we’re running out of room. If only we had at least one more to help us.
Berto: Leave that to me! I’ve got the perfect thing!
>Berto then uploads his own virus.
>Berto’s virus assists Sophie, Pandora, and the Forges’ viruses as In-Su, Conor, Chim-Chim, and the other hackers search for the file.
>At Silcencerz HQ.
Silencer #20: Damn! They are in the mainframe.
Silencer #1: You still have not found them?
Silencer #3: We might be able trace them if they find they file they are looking for.
Silencer #1: Then do it.
>With that, the Silencerz begin their work.
>Back in Cyberspace, the Silcencerz’ security algorithms were finally defeated.
Sophie: We did it! Thank you all.
>The viruses gestured a “You’re welcome” to Sophie and disappear back to where they came from.
Vince: That virus of your, Forge 2, it makes me wonder.
Forge 2: Wonder what?
Vince: If... If I should have asked my dream brother from New Olympia to help us, too... Oh well, I’ll ask him next time.
Vince: You’ll have to get through his Big Buddy, Hunk’s dream brother. And I don’t think my own DB would be too happy. Especially after everything that’s happened in recent months. But I’m sure I can talk him into it.
Panther: Dream brother?
Queen: You mean...

Conor: Hey, I think we found it!
>Conor, Chim-Chim, In-Su, and Sophie who joined them, found a file that looked like a file cabinet. One of the drawers was labeled 200335.
Jack: That’s it!
Sophie: We found the file. Let’s copy it.
>Sophie opens the drawer show many files. No sooner did she open it, it starts flashing and making a siren sound.
Spinner: (covering his ears) Yikes, that loud!
Jack: That’s the alarm for the failsafe. You now have 15 minutes to copy the file before it deletes itself permanently.
Oracle: Leave it to me. I’ll just use the same program I created to copy Makoto’s Sis’s computer.
Queen: Let’s hope it works on the Silencerz’ mainframe than it does Sis’s.
>Oracle enters the program and it begins to copy the file.
>At Silencerz HQ, the computer room was now flashing and alarms were ringing.
Silencer #3: They are copying the file! Now, if I could just... Got it! I got a lock. The source of the copying is coming from... some town nearby.
Silencer #1: You mean... Handler’s Corners.
>Silencer #1 begins to leave.
Silencer #9: Sir, where are you going?
Silencer #1: (turning back) To visit an old amigo.
>With that, Silencer #1 leaves. Suddenly, the alarm gets louder.
Silencer #20: What is happening!?
Silencer #3: This looks bad. Someone else is in the mainframe. They are also copying the file.
>Back in Cyberspace.
Oracle: This doesn’t look good. There’s someone else here. Someone’s also copying this file.
>Sure enough, something comes out of the file cabinet. It was a little blue bad... wearing a pair of glasses and had the most ugliest comb-over ever.
It’s Strega! What the hell do they want?
Vert: Who?
Taro: Some cult.
Oracle: If they’re also copying the file, then us copying it will be difficult.
Lunch: So, we may not be able copy the whole file?
Yu-ichi: Well that sucks.
Player: I’m sure I think I might help with that. I mean, I can’t stop Strega from also copying the file, but I think I have an idea what may happen and how to solve the problem.
Oracle: I hope so.
Jack: Hurry, only 9 minutes left.
>Oracle’s program tries its best to copy the file which is difficult as the program from Strega (most likely made by Jin) is also copying the file.
Jack: Only 6 minutes.
Oracle: We’re almost done.
>Before we knew it, only 4 minutes left. Please copy it.
>3 minutes. Not much time left and the copying is still going.
>2 minutes. There’s still more.
>1 minute. Almost there.
>59 seconds... Come on. Come on! COME ON!
>10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...
FILE DELETED. CONNECTION TERMINATED.
>The main screen goes to static. Then, Sophie is re-projected back with us, In-Su returns to M.A.Y.H.E.M.’s computer, and Conor and Chim-Chim are back in their real world forms.
Panther: Conor, Chim-Chim, are you two alright?
Conor: (a little dizzy) We’re fine. We’re used to this sort of thing.
In-Su: I’m fine, too. My source code is a little frizzy, but that can be helped with a quick fix.
Joule: You’ve earned it, In-Su. Enjoy your nap.
>With that, In-Su shots off for now.
Vert: So, did we succeed in copying the file?
Oracle: Let me check.
>Oracle checks the copied file.
Well, I’ve got some bad news, good news, and some stressful news.
Agura: I had a feeling it wasn’t going to be easy.
Oracle: Bad news: We weren’t able to copy all of the research data. Good news: We did manage to copy most of it. Stressful news: Most of it is encrypted. Until we can decipher the code, you guys are going to have to wait a little longer.
Taro: I figured as much.
Berto: But with all of us, we should be able to crack the code.
Mixer: Afraid you’ll have to count us out. We didn’t tell Persephone that we did this and she’s got a strict policy about messing with organizations other than L.E.G.I.O.N. without her permission.
Yeti: (looking down) ...
Mixer: (panicking) YETI, YOU TOLD HER!? SHE’S GONNA PUT ME ON COFFEE DUTY AGAIN!
Safeword: I see. If that’s the case... I’ll take a double shot expresso.
Joulie: I’ll take a mocha.
Mixer: (shocked) Seriously?
>With that, we bid our M.A.Y.H.E.M. friend fair well for now and they leave.
Conor: Chim-Chim and I have to bow out, too. Speed will be back any minute and I don’t want him to know what we did. I wanna keep it a surprise.
Pidge: Me and Vince have to go, too. I have a few castle defenses to upgrade.
Vince: And I’m on standby. I know business is slow, but Keith says peace time is the best time to prepare for anything.
Joker: Right, see you all later.
>With that, Conor, Chim-Chim, Pidge, and Vince sign off.
Adi: The rest of us will stay and help you decipher the code.
Player: With Red on break, I’ve got time.
Oracle: Thanks, you guys.
Berto: Guess I better let Max, Steel, and Ferrus know I’m gonna be busy for awhile.
Sherman: We’ll back you up.
Berto: Gracias.
Spinner: That’s what primos are for.
>With that, Oracle and our hacker friends begin their work to unlock Dr. Tezla’s research to reopen the portal to Highway 35 and bring back the World Race.
Oracle: But I am curious about one thing: What does Strega want with Tezla’s research?

Maybe you should have some kind of alert for them.
Jin: I’ll think about that. Right now, thanks to their hacking into the Silencerz’ mainframe for that file, I only copied most of it, but not all of it. Not to mention it’s encrypted.
I wouldn’t say that. I’d say that you copied plenty. And I’m sure with our new allies’ help, we might be able to unlock all of Dr. Tezla’s secrets.
Jin: Why are we even doing this, anyway? Since when are we interested in a long forgotten and completely no longer popular race?
Takaya: You would be surprised by what one can learn from things like this. After all, there are many ways to achieve your goals. Am I correct?

That’s right, ghosty boy. I bet even M.A.Y.H.E.M. couldn’t think of something like this.
Jin: (a bit confused) Even though they were just in the mainframe as well.
Gaunt: A minor mishap. Something we’ll fix soon.
Myles: With a voice like that, it’s hard to say he’s wrong.

Gaunt: (with a small bow) Thank you.
Jin: So, can L.E.G.I.O.N. help with deciphering the code?
Gaunt: Maybe. Even we can’t work miracles that quickly. Just look at me. At first, I was only partially restored. I didn’t even have my-
Jin: (quickly with a frown) Okay, okay, we get the picture!
Takaya: Soon, we’ll gain what we’re after... Soon...

Hello everybody! My name is Mickey, also known as Tezkatlypoka from Reddit, and I would like to show you my own gathered information about a great project which will have its own *ICO** very soon, the Hoard Invest. Hoard, the One and Only project setting you up to be your own bank!

The name of this little post is “Clash of Titans” and that's simply because we will have two big players in the field of cryptocurrency banking, where each of these two giants will trying to demonstrate their vision and make you be able to use your Crypto in a daily life.
One of these two Ambassadors of crypto banking will be definitively ETHOS. ETHOS was the very first project where I have been convinced that their goal is to improve whole paying system and basically to build one. Their ICO was very successful, they obtain decent support from the medial world, their community is strong and the main fact is, their team is awesome.
They have one young genius named Shingo Lavigne as a CEO and great strategies and visionary Mr. Stephen Corliss who has got a lot of experiences and connections to grant the opened door leading up to the institutional sphere for Ethos. Who was in ICO, made a decent amount of money. Everybody thought that has to be a true champion without any possible competition.
When I heard about the Hoard for the first time, it was like when you get struck by the lightning. And hit by a truck right after! I immediately download their WP right to my phone and started to read it. I have to read it twice (you know, good stuff...well written, but lightning...truck...these can mess up your day completely). I have known right from a spot that I was reading about a true gem. I get Inspired. I wanted to know more and the baseline which started all of this was: They are like Ethos but slightly better!
There is a man in Hoard Invest who is very good at making things done. His name is Jason Davis and he is a new Rockstar in the cryptocurrency Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He will bring a whole new concept to the world of the banking industry. He will create a special kind of bank without a possibility to provide loans. Hoard will partner with some banks to provide a real bank account with all the basic stuff in a little while.
Mr. JD has a tremendous experience in banking systems and also in application design and development. He has learned what struggles a new customer has to overcome and that's because he was a new customer once too. He is able to assemble those two things together and create ripper breakthrough product. The last piece of this puzzle is Mr. Dan Lipert, an expert who can code everything Don't get confused! This "ZZ Top look" guy has got very high expertise rating in coding stuff and if He looks like Jazzy Hipster, his ability to write a code is like when you are watching Eddie Van Halen play his Eruption solo. The movie Hacker with Hugh Jackman has been written by his CV btw and since he was working for the government of US as an IT expert, he has to know the drill. The team like this has a decent power to attract and create powerful alliances.
I choose to write about Hoard Invest because everything about it makes sense to me. This is where crypto needs to go for adopting. Only with projects like Hoard will the world start to take cryptocurrencies seriously.

So you don't have to buy BTC or ETH (and pay the fee) for your EUR/USD, then send them on Binance/Bitrex (and pay the fee), purchase a Litecoin (for a fee) and then make a final payment with some fee (well fu*ck me, that's a lot of fees). We got to used to it.
Another ripper they can provide you with is the system of Instant payments. You just click on the button “spend” and sell whatever coin you have at the moment and you will instantly get a value in dollars which you can use for your morning coffee purchase. Smaug protocol Instant trustless payments across any currency or smart contract based blockchain. Instantly and automatically swap holdings at transaction versus manual coin consolidation. Decouple reliance on any specific chain, foundation or exchange.
Decision making
Now, let's get back to our comparison. Mr. Corliss opens up the institutional side for ethos. He has deep connections from his time with BlackRock and knows how to give confidence and legitimacy to the ethos project. Having top talent like him attracts other top talents to join too. Shingo had a good idea. He cocked the rest of it up. Ideas like prediction or betting... then who knows what. They can still make it a good platform in the long run.
Mr. JD on the other hand, is so Fair dinkum and True blue developer/programmer/businessman/dealmaker/blockchain-evangelist/ and a great entrepreneur, because he understands the day to day problems in our own personal financial dealings and management systems, having a vast knowledge of blockchain technology he has come up with the solution we have all been waiting for. He is a solid unit. He made a tool to let us be our own bank and be less reliant on corporations who love to take your hard earned money and fee you to the death. If Roger Ver is Jesus of Bitcoin Cash, then JD is Chuck Norris of banking systems in the cryptocurrency world.
Ethos vs. Hoard. When it comes down to it, show that Ethos is offering two things. A fiat gateway for cryptocurrency investing and crowd sentiment for investing..(with Binance offering USD pairing soon ETHOS needs to step its game up). Hoard will be a fiat gateway with a minimal to no fee exchange and its base, with a network for instant transactions of any coins and also the ability to make any transaction private. Think what lightning network was for bitcoin but quicker and for any currency. Along with AI investing, spare change investing. The last thing is the fact you hold your own private key (at ETHOS you don't).
So my advice is: Do not sell your ETHOS for HOARD even thought that I am very bullish in the HOARD case. It’s not always about the best technology remember, but don't hesitate with HOARD very long.
But need to say they are both very decent projects. I like Hoard more and that's all. Remember that without a strong competition they would not be a true winner and how could we recognize a great gem if there isn't anything similarly good for comparison?

Visualising IOT Data on a Pi Cluster using Mesos, Spark & Kafka
The sensorpi repo on GitHub holds various ramblings, scripts and code put together for and experiment to visualise realtime sensor data processed on a cluster of Raspberry Pis. Not dissimilar to https://www.circuits.dk/datalogger-example-using-sense-hat-influxdb-grafana/ but using the features of the cluster for near realtime processing.

But first a few caveats, unlike my Hadoopi project as this is an experiment there isn’t chef code to setup and configure the cluster of Raspberry Pis (you’ll need to do this by hand). Originally this project was intended to implement a SMACK (Spark, Mesos, Akka, Cassandra and Kafka) stack. You’ll see the end result is more of a SMKS stack (Spark, Mesos, Kafka and Scala) acting as a transfer mechanism between two Pis for capturing sensor mnetrics and visualsation of the collected data. On the sensor side a Pi zero is using an EnviroPhat pushing data to Kafka via Python. On the visualisation side there is an influxdb instance and grafana server to store and serve a realtime dashboard of the data.
Despite all of those caveats, I learned a tonne about running a Mesos on a cluster (on tin), writing Scala code, building it, Spark streaming, IOT sensors, Influxdb TICK stack and Grafana dashboards. So if you want to play along I expect you’ll learn all those things too, so it’s a case of manual setup, please make sure your command line Fu is cranked up to 11!
What You Will Need
The project uses a cluster of 5 Raspberry Pis, a wireless hub and 60W usb power adapter, full details of the cluster hardware can be found on the Hadoopi project. You’ll also need a development PC, I’m running Debian linux as it supports all the technologies and tools to build and deploy. Finally for the sensor I’m using an EnviroPhat from PiMoroni on a Raspberry Pi Zero W.
These instructions below will help you set up the cluster, this is how we are going to spread the workload across it:
Raspberry Pi Zero W and EnviroPhat - Python application posting sensor data to a Kafka Topic
Master01 - Running influxDB and Grafana
Master02 - Mesos Master, Launch Scripts and NFS share for spark app checkpointing
Worker01/02/03 - mesos slaves for running tasks from mesos
Each of the workers will run the spark application and kafka brokers as part of the mesos cluster.
You’ll be using the development PC for building the scala application and submitting it to Spark, if you have Kafka installed you can also use that to view the messages on the Kafka topic to help with troubleshooting.
As stated above this project really is an experiment because you could post metrics from the sensor Pi directly to influxdb - therefore the mesos, spark, scala and kafka components really are their just to learn.
Compilation and Packaging
Because the Raspberry Pi uses an arm architecture we are going to have to compile Mesos and Kafka, you’ll also find minimal documentation on achieving this, I’m using instructions that Netflix posted after one of their hackdays and blog post so as a result we have quite an old version of Mesos 0.28.3. I’ll be using the tried and trusted jessie lite 23-09-16 distribution of raspbian as I’d proven whilst building the Hadoopi project.
Boot one of you Pis from a fresh install and run the following to prepare the environment for compiling:

Next clone and patch Mesos:

And now build the binary (warning this may take 3-4 hours):

Now transfer the binary mesos-install.tar.gz down to the dev pc
Next we need to make the kafka binary for mesos, following from the above build on the Pi:

Now transfer the binary kafka-install.tgz down to the dev pc
You can now power off the Pi and wipe the sdcard for reuse.
Setup OS and Networking
On each of the 5 nodes in the cluster - master01/02/worker01/02/03 (so excluding the sensor Pi). The Network is is setup to use the 10.0.0.255 subnet with master01/02 at 10.0.0.11 and 12, the workers being 21, 22, 23.

At this point you should have all 5 cluster nodes setup with network connectivity, the correct hostnames and access to the other nodes in the cluster.
Setting up the Worker Nodes
Now we are going to setup each of the worker nodes installing mesos, zookeeper, spark and startup script.
Firstly copy the mesos binary from you dev pc to each pi
scp mesos-install.tar.gz pi@workerXX:~
Then on each worker pi:

Next Create the startup script in /root, change the “ip” and “hostname” as applicable for the node

That’s the worker nodes ready to go.
Setting up master02
The master02 node is the most fidly to setup, it runs the majority of services, so there are a few steps to install, mesos, spark, nfs share and kafka.
Copy the required files to the Pi - that’s startup scripts, the mesos and kafka bianaries onto the node:
scp scripts/*.sh pi@master02:~ scp mesos-install.tar.gz pi@master02:~ scp kafka-install.tgz pi@master02:~
Then install mesos:
sudo -i cd / tar -zxvf /home/pi/mesos-install.tar.gz apt-get install libcurl4-nss-dev libsvn-dev
Next we need to setup an nfs share for the spark applications to use for checkpointing, details taken from http://www.instructables.com/id/Turn-Raspberry-Pi-into-a-Network-File-System-versi/

Next repeat the install of spark on master02 as was done on the worker nodes.
Now install kafka:

Finally move that startup scripts to /root

That’s master02 ready to go.
Setting up master01
We’ll install 2 TICK stack components - influxdb 1.4 (which unfortunately doesn’t have the free clustering option) and the Chronograf. For dashboards we’ll also install Grafana.
Let’s install influxdb and create an empty database for our data:

Setting up the Sensor
Connect up the EnviroPhat and boot, next configure the networking as for the main cluster, I chose 10.0.0.99 as the ip.
Upload the sensor.py code
scp sensor/sensor.py pi@XXXXX:~ <--- replace XXX with the ip of your sensor pi
Install the supporting libraries and configure:
sudo -i apt-get install pip python-envirophat pip2 install envirophat sudo raspi-config <------ enable i2c bus from the interfaces option pip2 install kafka-python
Everything is ready to go
Starting up the Cluster
This is where the fun starts, Make sure all the Pis are up and running and we can start playing.
Open 3 terminal windows to worker01/02/03
sudo -i ./startup.sh
The workers should have mounted the nfs share from master02 and kick off the mesos slave daemons.
Next open 3 terminal windows to master02
sudo -i ./start-mesos-master.sh
Open http://master02:5050/#/slaves check mesos is running
Take a look at the slaves and check our worker nodes are present and correct.
Now start the spark and kafka frameworks
sudo -i ./start-spark-framework.sh ./start-kafka-framework.sh
Open http://master02:5050/#/frameworks check both frameworks are running:
For first run only you’ll need to create the Kafka brokers, note we are pinning each broker to a specific worker via the constraints option:

Then for this and subsequent runs start the brokers with:

Open http://master02:5050/#/ check the 3 tasks are running for the Kafka brokers
Get the Sensor Sending Metrics to Kafka
Next ssh to the sensor pi and run:
python sensor.py
On the dev pc, locate your local kafka install and read from the kafka topic with the console consumer to check messages are making it to kafka

You’ll see the sensor data from kafka being displayed on the consumer console.
Building the Scala Application and getting ready to deploy
One of the challenges I set myself with this project was to write code in a new language, I chose to use Scala and Spark streaming (an ideal fit for mesos), much of the work is based around the learnings from a couple of books and the excellent Taming Big Data with Spark Streaming and Scala - Hands On! by Frank Kane.
I’ve put together a small spark streaming app that loads small batches of data from Kafka and pushes them to influxdb. One of the main frustrations during development was library dependency issues, I worked originally in ScalaIDE http://scala-ide.org/ submitting the app to my local spark instance using the data sources on the Pi Cluster. This was somewhat “clunky” but worked, packaging up the application to deploy to the cluster using the Scala Build Tool was also problematic, but after much wrangling I got it working. Here’s the files included for the KafkaSensor app:

There include libraries for kafka, json parsing, config management and influxdb. The job of sbt is to go and grab the nested dependencies of jars needed to build the jar and package it up for runtime.
You may want to review the runtime settings included in the project in src/main/resources/application.conf.
To build the jar run:
sbt assembly
If all goes welll you’ll have a jar file target/scala-2.10/KafkaSensor-assembly-1.0.jar
Running the Scala Application on the Cluster
Now we have compiled our application, we need to use the spark libraries on the development pc to submit the application to the cluster.
Open 2 terminal windows on your dev pc. In one window run a web server to allow the cluster to load your jar:
cd target/scala-2.10 python -m SimpleHTTPServer 8000
In the second, submit the spark application (you’ll need the spark binaries installed), replace the 10.0.0.9 with you dev pc ip
/opt/spark/bin/spark-submit --class com.andyburgin.sparkstreaming.KafkaSensor --master mesos://master02:7077 --deploy-mode cluster --conf spark.testing.reservedMemory="64000000" --conf spark.testing.memory="128000000" --executor-memory 256m --driver-memory 256m --num-executors 1 http://10.0.0.9:8000/KafkaSensor-assembly-1.0.jar
You’ll note the teeny memory settings needed to get the app to run on the cluster (see the hadoopi project for more details on cluster memory allocation). Check the application is running on the cluster http://master02:5050/#/ watch the driver and then worker tasks be created
Select one of the tasks and look at the “stdout” output, you should see the heartbeat message
View Metrics in Chronograf + Grafana
Now the application is running, lets look at the data being collected in Chronograf, point the browser at http://master01:8888/
Use the data explorer to quickly find the metrics and knock up a quick graph.
Next we need to set up Grafana, make sure the server is running on master01 and restart it if not
sudo -i service grafana-server restart
Log into Grafana by hitting http://master01:3000/, login as user “admin” password “admin” (change these at your leisure)
Next set up the influxdb data source to http://master01:8086
Then import the “grafana/EnviroPhat.json” dashboard.
And at long last view the dashboard and metrics
Stopping the App and Cluster
To kill the spark app, much like how it was launched run:
/opt/spark/bin/spark-submit --master mesos://master02:7077 --kill driver-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Replace the driver id as applicable, check the tasks in mesos have ended http://master02:5050/#/
To shut the whole cluster down, first cleanly stop the Kafka brokers and Spark framework on master02
sudo -i ./stop-kafka-brokers.sh ./stop-spark-framework.sh
Then terminate the running processes for the kafka framework and mesos master by hitting ^C on each terminal window on master02, also do this on the mesos slave processes on each worker.
Summary
As you’ll have seen this is very much an experiment, the original plan to build a SMACK stack hasn’t come to fruition. The cluster is really a massive overkill to simply recreate https://www.circuits.dk/datalogger-example-using-sense-hat-influxdb-grafana/
But in doing this as I said at the start I’ve learned a whole heap about Mesos, Spark and Scala and that was always the intention (and it turns out my soldering skills aren’t too bad either).

>San Campion, California, United States. We came here to change the heart of a new target. Queen, Noir, and Crow are not with us as they have to study for their college finals. But Duke, Ape, Visor, and his robotic companion will be filling in for them.
Okay, according to this message, the person who sent the request should be meeting at someplace called “The Five Paths”. I looked it up. It’s some kind of martial arts studio.
Really? Like what? I know some Kung-Fu.
Oracle: It doesn’t say. There’s no other information about it.
It’s like this place doesn’t even exist. Now that’s just weird.
I think that’s it over there.
Oracle: Well, it does appear so.
Let’s take a closer look.
Let’s be careful though. There’re some kids here.
Oracle: The message said to meet them in the back. Let’s see if we can find a way there.
>We manage to find a way to the back. While that was happening, I couldn’t help but hear what the kids at the front were saying.
Have you noticed that Tareq’s been acting weird lately? More than usual.
Well, it has looked like he hasn’t slept in a while. I tried asking him about it and just told me to get bent. I know Tareq hasn’t been the nicest to us, but this is just getting ridiculous. Ray, what does your uncle say?

Ginger-haired girl: I see. Well, if your uncle and the other Masters say it, I suppose we can try... So anyway, how was your winter break?

>We quickly turn to see someone come out the backdoor of the studio.

Young man in gee: (shocked) A Creature!?
>He quickly puts on some glove and we are surprised to see it change into a green glove that looks like it was made of leaves.
Wait! What on earth is that!?
Young man in gee: Three-Eyed Dragonfly!
>The young man shouted this as he did some martial art move and was surrounded by what looked like flowers. Then, the flowers all converted in front of the young man and a portal with a symbol on it opens.
>Then, to our shock and horror, something comes out of it.
Violet: (shocked) What is that thing!?
Oracle: It doesn’t look like any Shadow I know.
Young man in gee: (confused) Shadow? Tch, whatever, I have to do this. Three-Eyed, attack!
??-??: Tareq, please stop!
Young man in gee: (shocked) Huh!? Th- That voice.
>Suddenly, the symbol on the portal changes.
>Then, something else comes out with the portal closing behind it.
Young man in gee: (still shocked) R- Ra-Vu? You’re here?
Glowing Creature: (telepathically) Yes. I am. I ask you not to attack them.
Young man in gee: Why not?
Glowing Creature: Because, these people... are the Phantom Thieves of Heart.
Young man in gee: (shocked again) What?
Mona: (also surprised) It knows who we are?
>Then, the glowing creature projects some kind of screen. On the screen is the request.
Young man in gee: (confused) My request? But, I thought I deleted it and never sent it.
Visor: You’re the one who sent it?
Young man in gee: I wrote it, yes. But I deleted because I chickened out. I’m sorry, I just haven’t been getting any sleep lately and I don’t think I can handle this.
Joker: So you’re Tareq.
Tareq: How did you know?
Aside from that creature calling you by name, it was also a lucky guess.
Tareq: (groaning) You probably over heard those three in the front. They probably saw my request and sent it.
Glowing Creature: You are wrong, Tareq... I sent it.
Tareq: (surprised) You!?
Glowing Creature: Yes. I secretly went into the temple and saw the request you made. I took an screenshot and saw it was about Master Brightmore. So, I recreated the request and sent it.
Tareq: But... But why?
Glowing Creature: I was advised to come to the temple... By a young girl in a blue dress and a large book.
>Why am I not surprised?
Tareq: I don’t think I want to know about a girl you suddenly found in the Creature Realm. Still, why did you sent it?
Glowing Creature: Because... I too am worried about him.
Tareq: ... A Light Creature never lies. Yes, I’m worried about Master Brightmore. I know I shouldn’t be calling him that anymore because of all the things he’s done when he joined the Choten, but still, of all the Kaijudo Duel Masters, he was probably my favorite. How he only just wanted to keep things orderly and calm. And now look at him, a wanted criminal in the eyes of those he worked with. Since then, I’ve been having a hard time getting used to it. And lately, I keep having this recurring nightmare.
Glowing Creature: I am no expert in dreams, but what kind of nightmare?
Tareq: I... I don’t know. It just felt like... Like something dangerous was chasing me and I had to get away... By climbing something... And I think sheep were also in it.

Tareq: I don’t have that dream anymore, but since then, I just can’t seem to sleep. I tried everything to relax. I even asked Master Kimora for advice. He said to take some time off, but that’s not helping at all.
>Then, Tareq did some bow-like move in front of the giant bug. Then, he did it again and the bug disappears.
Tareq: See? I can’t even send my Creature back properly. I’m just so worried about Master Brightmore. I...
Glowing Creature: You can say it.
Tareq: I... I miss him.
Glowing Creature: But is that not why you requested the help of the Phantom Thieves? To change his heart so he may turn himself in and he would at least return to the temple?
Tareq: Well, yes.
Then that’s what we’ll do.

Fox: We Phantom Thieves do this so we can give courage to others. That includes you.

Glowing Creature: I am glad to hear that... So this is what “glad” feels like.

Glowing Creature: Forgive me, I have not introduced myself to you. I am known as Ra-Vu, Indomitable Seeker of Lightning and Stormbringer. I am a Creature of the Light Civilization in a hidden world known as the Creature Realm.
Tareq: And you probably already know I’m Tareq: I’m an acolyte in the ancient art of Kaijudo.
Joker: I see. I’m not so sure about what you just said.
Tareq: I’ll explain while I take you to where you need to go... I’ll just ease your memories after this anyway.
>With that, Ra-Vu takes off to the air and we leave with Tareq... We didn’t see that someone was spying on us.
Ray: I knew something was up.
Round Boy: I guess Panopter got something good.
Ginger-haired girl: Think we should tell the Masters?
Ray: (grinning) Have we haver told them about the stuff we do?
Round boy and ginger-haired girl: ... Naw.
>Later after being told everything about the world of Kaijudo, we were now standing in front of a convenient store.
Tareq: I got word that he was back in town. He took up a job here as a clerk.
>We take a peek through the window. Ra-Vu sent us a telepathic message that he can connect us so we can hear what’s going on inside.
What is this I’m looking at?
>He was holding an instant ramen bowl.
It’s instant ramen. Anyone can see that.
Yeah, boss. I thought we were the dumb ones.
Nigel Brightmore: (irritated) I am aware that it’s instant ramen. What I was asking was why I found this in the nacho aisle?
Boy in Sweater: Because the instant ramen is next to it. C’mon, it was just one mistake.
Nigel Brightmore: (still irritated) We are trying to make the shoppers’ trips here easier! Unlike life. You better think twice before making such an error again!
Hat-wearing young man: Whoa, boss, relax, it’s fixable. Geez, and we left Carny just for this?
Boy in Sweater: It can’t be helped, Nickles. Carny had the dough. And now that he’s spending more time with his old man, we gotta make cash somehow.
Nickles: I hope yer right, Driggs.

Nickles and Driggs: (scared) Yes, sir!

Tareq: It’s making him so frustrated he’s taking it out on his employees. And they don’t even know anything about Kaijudo or Creatures. It’s pathetic, but at the same time, sad. I can’t stand to see him like this anymore.
Ra-Vu: (telepathically) Meet me at the back of this shop.
>We go to the back where Ra-Vu was waiting for us.
Ra-Vu: Now you see how far my former master has fallen. How his misery has turned him from a once honorable man into a disgraced figure of sloth and anger. He might as well, how would humans put it... Made a prison of his own heart. And he is even the warden.
Skull: That sounds like it fits.
>Skull takes out his phone and enters the words we hope are the keywords. Nigel Brightmore... Convenient store... Prison...
Nav: Results found. Updating guidance system.

Tareq: So, you go to this Metaverse with an app? How does that work?

Skull: Well, with all that done, all we gotta do now is go into his Palace and-

Bob: (a bit disappointed) Fine.
Ra-Vu: I am glad to hear that. Now, you may begin.
Joker: Alright, he we go.
Nav: Beginning navigation.
>With that, the familiar red wave passes over us. When it ends, the convenient store had now been replaced with a prison that looks like something out of Avatar the Last Airbender. More specifically, The Boiling Rock.

Ray: Holy...
Ra-Vu: That is precisely the right thing to say in the situation.
How don’t see how it is. Care to explain?
Allie: First, explain something. A couple of things... Where the heck are we and what’s with the outfits!?
Gabe: Hold on, those masks... You’re the Phantom Thieves, aren’t you!? The Phantom Thieves of Hearts!
Hey, shush! I don’t think the Shadows heard us.
Tareq: Shadows? You talked about that.
Yeah, in the Metaverse, enemies attack us.
Allie: I think it get it. But what does that have to do with summoning our Creatures before coming here?
Ra-Vu: Because it is unknown what effects may occur from opening the Veil within the Metaverse.
Gabe: (worried) Now you tell us.
Oracle: Right, so until we can be sure it’s safe...
No Summonings.
Gabe: Right. Opening the Veil in a place like this could cause a Butterfly Effect so massive, it might cause great damage.
Well, shall we go in now?
Right, I’m just itching to cause some damage.
Then let’s get to it.
>I use my Third Eye a spot a hole in the mountain big enough for all of us to go through.
Joker: You think we can fly up there?
Bob: I can.
Oracle: I can also use Necronomicon carry us as well. Persona!
Ray: (surprised) That’s definitely not the kind of Creatures we’re use to.
>With Bob and Necronomicon’s help, we managed to get inside the prison without fail. Inside, there were young men getting pushed around by Shadows dressed like prison guards.
Tareq: How does those guys get here?
Mona: Their just cognitions. They’re based off of people in the real world. It’s those guards you have to worry about.
>We secretly land near what we can only guess is the front door. We enter what we assume is the lobby which looks more like a courtroom. Then, we see two cognitions dressed like guards escorting a young man with a bag over his head. The two guards look like the two boys from the store.
Allie: Why are Driggs and Nickles here?
It’s not really them. Like Mona said, they’re just copies that exist only in this Palace.
>Then, someone arrives on the judge’s podium. It was Nigel Brightmore dressed like that warden from The Boiling Rock. However, it looked like it was made of gold... Including his eyes.
Shadow Nigel: Read the charges.
Cognitive Driggs: Yes, sir.
>Then, Cognitive Driggs removes the bag...
Ray: (shocked) It’s... It’s me.
Cognitive Nickles: Raiden Pierce-Okamoto, you are charged with defying the ways of the Kaijudo Order. You have touched Creature after Creature, made forbidden trips to the Creature Realm, causing much chaos, and worst of all, cost the warden his job. How do you plea?
Cognitive Ray: (looks like he’s crying) ...
Shadow Nigel: We will take your silence as your confession. So, for your crimes, I sentence you to be “reeducated”.
Cognitive Ray: N- No!
>With that, the cognitions leave.
Bob: (now getting angry) They will pay for that!
>With that, Bob runs out of hiding.
Ray: Bob, wait!
>Too late. We’ve been spotted.
Shadow Nigel: (a malicious smile on his face) So, the real one comes to my presence. And I see you brought your friends as well. And what’s this? You’ve become friends with those annoying fools from Japan?
Well, guess what. These annoyin’ fools are gonna take you down and steal your Treasure!
Shadow Nigel: I am not scared of you. This prison in impenetrable. Nothing is coming in or out. Ever.
Tareq: You can’t be serious. Master, I know you have fallen, but this isn’t going to make things any better.
Shadow Nigel: Doesn’t it? I lost everything because of these children. The Masters have left their ways and are now weak. Our mission to protect the people of the Human Realm will fail this way.
Ray: That’s not true. The Order didn’t become weak, they grew. Now, they’re stronger than ever.
Shadow Nigel: I refuse to believe it. Being a Kaijudo Duel Master was everything to me... And I intend to take it back.
>Then, a large Shadow appears.
Tareq: Please, Master Brightmore, it doesn’t have to be this way. Just turn yourself over to the Masters and I promise that I’ll make sure that their punishment is something light.
Shadow Nigel: ... No. It’s too late for that.
Ra-Vu: It is never too late to redeem yourself.
Shadow Nigel: (getting angry) You dare speak back to your master? Fine, if you wish to defy me further... Then you can just die here. Guards, seize them!
>With that, Shadow Nigel runs off and the large Shadow changes shape.
Allie: (surprised) I don’t think that angel is here to save our souls.
>Necronomicon scans the Shadow.
Oracle: I’m not sensing any weaknesses. It’s real strong. And avoid using Bless Skills.
Joker: But maybe Curse Skills can give us the edge...
Maybe even stronger.
>I go Third Tier.
Joker: PERSONA!
Skull: I’m in, too. You might need the extra muscle.
Mona: You’ll need a healer, too.
Fox: And me.

Tutorial
The Kaijudo Adepts’ assistance is the same as a regular assist. Sometime, if you can’t knock down all the enemies, they will assist in knocking down the rest of them.
Which Adept assists depends on the character.
Joker = Ray and Bob
Skull = Gabe and Gargle
Mona = Allie and Squeaky
Fox = Tareq and Ra-Vu
>Uriel Summons three Shadows. We’ll tell you that they’re Angels since we can’t show you pictures of them. All the Angel use Buffs on Uriel. Raoul uses Heat Raiser on Mona. Seiten Taisei uses Matarukaja.

Walmart originally wanted to become the majority owner of TikTok and was working with Alphabet and SoftBank in a joint bid for the app, CNBC reported Thursday.
But according to CNBC, US government officials vetoed the idea, saying that a tech company needed to lead the deal so that it could effectively secure TikTok's data.
Walmart announced Thursday that it had teamed up with Microsoft on a bid. The Seattle-based tech giant has been a front-runner to buy TikTok but is also competing with rival Oracle.
Trump has sought to force the sale of the app to an American tech company, citing national security concerns, via two separate executive orders, which TikTok has challenged in court.

Walmart entered the frenzied competition surrounding the potential sale of TikTok on Thursday by teaming up with Microsoft, but it apparently had bigger plans before joining the tech giant's bid.
Following the announcement Thursday, CNBC reported that Walmart had originally hoped to acquire a majority stake in TikTok: The plan was to join Google parent company Alphabet and Japanese investor SoftBank, where they'd get minority stakes.
According to CNBC, SoftBank COO Marcelo Claure had organized the group, believing the combination of Walmart's appeal to customers in conservative states and Google's robust cloud computing business — which TikTok already uses — would make a compelling partnership both politically and financially.
But Trump officials disagreed, and nixed the idea, specifically demanding that a tech company lead any acquisition deal because it would be more consistent with the administration's argument that TikTok's ownership by Chinese-based ByteDance posed a national security risk, according to CNBC.
"We are confident that a Walmart and Microsoft partnership would meet both the expectations of US TikTok users while satisfying the concerns of US government regulators," a Walmart spokesperson told Business Insider in a statement.
Walmart has since partnered with Microsoft and presumably would receive a minority stake in TikTok as part of that bid). The duo is competing with Oracle, which has reportedly been working with US investors, including General Atlantic and Sequoia Capital, both of which already own stakes in TikTok.
Trump has aggressively sought to force the sale of TikTok to an American company on the grounds it poses a national security threat. He has alleged that the Chinese government could pressure ByteDance to spy on Americans by accessing TikTok data, censor content Beijing finds politically objectionable, or sway US elections by quietly manipulating what American users see on the app.
Trump has issued two executive orders in recent weeks targeting the app. One aims to retroactively invalidate ByteDance's purchase of Musical.ly, the app that eventually became TikTok, while the other forbids American companies to do business with ByteDance.
TikTok sued the Trump administration earlier this week over the first order, claiming it violated the company's right to due process and that the government lacked evidence in claiming the app is a national security risk. Separately, one of its US employees has also challenged that order in court, arguing it would prevent TikTok from paying employees' salaries.
